We have a new Sexiest Man Alive and his name? Idris Elba!
“I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?'” the 46-year-old British actor said. “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
He took it another level when he commented on the honor on Twitter alongside an image of himself on the cover.
People Magazine has been giving out the honor of Sexiest Man Alive since 1985 when Mel Gibson first took home the title. Last year’s Sexiest Man Alive was The Voice coach and country singer Blake Shelton.
