Ariana Grande Passes Selena Gomez To Become Instagram’s Most Followed Woman

Ariana Grande has another milestone to add to her career as she surpassed Selena Gomez as the most-followed woman on Instagram.
Gomez previously held the title with 146,267,801 followers but as of today, Grande overtook that number with 146,286,173 followers. Both women are only topped by soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo who is currently the most followed person on Instagram, regardless of gender.
Grande’s push on social media, especially on Instagram in the past few months has been nothing short of incredible. She’s gained 13 million plus new followers in the last four months and has teased everything from songs to award show dresses on the platform.
In other news for Arianators, Grande’s thank u, next occupies the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for a second week.
