Janet Jackson: BET’s First Ever Ultimate Icon

Janet Jackson makes history at this weekend’s B.E.T. Award show.
The talented singer, songwriter and actress will be honored the first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award at the 15th annual show at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Before she accepts her award, the 49-year-old singer will receive a dance tribute from today’s biggest stars including Chris Brown, Ciara, Jason Derulo, and Tinashe.
Janet released her new single “No Sleep” to digital retailers this week, and her first album in seven years is due this fall on Rhythm Nation Records/BMG.
