With the current controversy climate surrounding the Confederate flag after the horrible tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina, FOX TV host and radio talk show host Sean Hannity makes a case about the Confederate flag imagery being banned at major retailers because it’s considered offensive, that hip-hop music should be banned as well.

Hannity’s point sees that hip-hop is no different than the Confederate flag, in that it offends a certain demographic of America while being embraced by another.

Some retailers—Sears, Walmart, Amazon, eBay and the rest of the retailers in the last 24 hours—have announced that they intend to discontinue sales of the Confederate flag,” Hannity said. “I have a question: Can you still buy a Jay Z CD at Walmart? Does the music department at Sears have any Ludacris albums? Can I download 50 Cent on Amazon? Can I do that? Can I get some Snoop Dogg on eBay?

If it’s OK for Obama’s teenage daughters and people to go into these stores and buy music chock-full of the N-word, the B-word, well, maybe we should consider banning that too,” he said. “We’re in the process of banning everything.

We get it Mr. Hannity, you’re not down with the culture or our music.
