A Marvel Comic‘s predecessor, Captain America was the most popular superhero during the wartime period.

But what if the captain wasn’t the patriotic, Nazi-punching superhero America fell in love with? Well here’s a trailer that envisions Captain America as a revengeful villain.

“This trailer re-imagines Captain America: Winter Soldier as a cheesy ’80s action flick a la Die Hard and RoboCop, complete with a tough-as-nails voiceover, Wilhelm screams, and people getting kicked through exploding plate glass windows,” says TheVerge.com.
