Busta Rhymes Arrested Then Heads to the Studio

Busta Rhymes was arrested yesterday (August 5th) at a gym in Manhattan.

Police say that the rapper was working out when he got into a dispute with another gym-goer and proceeded to throw a Lean Body Protein drink at him. Police charged him with second degree assault.

“The worker was not seriously injured but pressed charges” after Rhymes threw a “cardboard Lean Body protein drink container at him,” police said.

Rhymes was arrested, arraigned and released overnight without bail after entering a not-guilty plea. Hours after being taken into custody in New York City Wednesday evening for an alleged second-degree assault, Busta Rhymes spoke out on Instagram about how he’s doing.
