Missy Elliot Didn’t ‘Work It’ And Is Being Sued for $75K

She’s known for putting’ her thang down, flippin’, and reversin’ it, but looks like she didn’t ‘work it’ for one concert promoter.

Missy Elliot was set to perform 2 concerts in Brazil … but because she failed to promote the concerts on scheduled tv show, now she’s getting sued for $75,000

According to the suit, Missy was a no -show at a scheduled national TV appearance on Brazil’s Rede Globo. She was supposed to appear in November 2012 to promo the 2 shows for that month in Rio and Porto Alegre.

Jean Faustin, who booked Missy for the concerts, says her no-show meant no hype for the concert & ticket sales suffered … so he had to cancel the gigs.  He says he’d already paid her a $75,000 deposit to perform — so, he wants that amount back, plus interest.

No word yet from the Missy Elliot camp, but I wonder if she was under contract to appear on TV to promote?!   We’ll keep you updated on this story
