A Michigan church is using The Force to attract more people under 40 to their congregation.
One church has decided to use the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens opening-day to bring more people to their services. New people visiting Life Church can enter into a raffle each time they visit and members who bring a visitor for the 300 opening-day tickets to the latest feature in the Star Wars saga.
The pastor of the nondenominational Christian church told MLive.com: “It’s not corny. It’s not silly. Like I said, we’re serious about our faith, just not serious about ourselves.”
Life Church started with 100 members last November and has grown to more than 400.
