Awww man here we go. British actor Joseph Fiennes best known for his leading role in Shakespeare in Love, has been cast as the King of Pop Michael Jackson in a new TV drama. You have got to be kidding me. As if all this Oscar boycott wasn’t enough because of the lack of diversity in nominations, now we are going to have a white actor who could possibly win an award for playing a black man in next years Golden Globes.

Maybe this is just some elaborate joke for Hollywood to poke fun at us. I’m curious to see who will portray Mike as a child I suggest a Puerto Rican of Dutch descent. Besides if Hollywood wanted to truly have fun with it they should’ve cast MJ’s sister Letoya Jackson as the Moonwalker with Janet Jackson doing the voice over. Now that would be funny!
