One of the hottest R&B male vocal bands of the 90’s, could be featured in an upcoming biopic.
According to a report from VIBE.com, Jodeci member Dalvin DeGrate posted a tweet that hints at a biopic to be produced by the major cable network.
Insiders say it may air on VH1, although officials are not confirming the movie.
“#JODECI FANS #FollowMe 4 your ALL ACCESS PASS into the Making of the@VH1 #JODECI MOVIE,” read a tweet from June 18 from Mr. Dalvin.
The “Bad Boys of R&B” began their music journey in 1991, under the tutelage of Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs as an intern at Andre Harrell’s Uptown Records label. Their debut album went on to go triple platinum.
After some inner troubles, there was a split and K-Ci and Jo-Jo formed a duo while scoring several top-charting hits. The group reunited in 2014 and released their fourth studio album, The Past, Present, And Future in 2015.
