Even after losing “babygirl” fifteen years ago (yesterday, August 25th) fans of her music including hip hop’s best pay tribute to Aaliyah

Among those paying tribute, Beyoncé shared the ultimate throwback, remembering the singer by posting a video of the two of them from 16 years ago.

Missy Elliot has shared photos of herself with the fallen R&B star, this year was no different.
