DMX explained that in February, he was found lifeless in a parking lot by a police officer, saying he was non-responsive and without a pulse. Initially, reports indicated that he suffered from an overdose, but in reality, he had a grueling asthma attack.

The Yonkers emcee showed his appreciation calling the police “heroes” and performed at the charity event, helping to raise $80,000.
