A Tribe Called Quest to Perform on Saturday Night Live

After a huge announcement from members of A Tribe Called Quest, the influential group is set to make their first appearance.
According to Billboard, ATCQ will perform on the iconic sketch-comedy show, Saturday Night Live on Nov. 12th. It makes this first time that the crew will perform on SNL and it happens one day after the group releases their sixth and final project.
A special guest will be performing alongside surviving rappers Q-Tip, Jarobi White and DJ Ali Shaheed Muhammad but that artist is being kept a secret.
Last week, Q-Tip announced that ATCQ will drop their final album in tribute to their fallen member Phife Dawg who died earlier this year from complications related to diabetes.
“No this isn’t filled with old Phife bars,” Tip wrote on his Facebook page. “This is that pure, unstepped on pure! He left us with the blue print of what we had to do,” he continued. “We completed what will be, obviously, the final A Tribe Called Quest album.”
