Rapper Lil Yachty Says He Was ‘Wrong’ About Calling B.I.G. Overrated

Recently Lil Yachty is becoming more known for his controversial opinions than his music.

The young Atlanta rapper stirred up a lot of backlash over the past year for scrutinizing older hip hop heads and veteran rappers, but nothing set social media on fire more than when he deemed the Notorious B.I.G. as “overrated.”

During an interview he issued an apology for what he said about Biggie in particular.

“The only thing I kind of hate is that I kind of spoke so quick on him, saying I don’t know this I don’t know that before I gave him a chance and listened to him…. Before I said that I was in the blind,” he said. “I feel like I owe an apology….
