Kanye West may not be able to deliver on a promise.

Kanye has preached in recent interviews that clothing prices should be more affordable—referencing H&M and Zara several times—because he says fashion shouldn’t be exclusive. Also admitting that since this is his first collection with adidas, he couldn’t get the price points that he wanted due to material costs and other things that are out of his control.

Prices for the new adidas x Kanye West Yeezy Season 1 collection has been under speculation ever since the New York Fashion Week reveal, as to how much the pieces would cost.  It’s understandable but still frustrating for fans who learned about the $350 price tag of the Yeezy 750 Boosts.

Currently there is no release date for the “Yeezy Season 1”.
