Fox TV’s “Empire” Adds New Characters for Season 2

FOX TV’s Empire creator Lee Daniels has plans already for season two to feature guest appearances from Oprah Winfrey and Oscar-winner Common.
According to the reports from Access Hollywood:
“Yes. Yeah. She’s gonna be on it,” he said of Lady O – who previously starred in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” – at a screening of “Empire” in Los Angeles.
The “Empire” creator also confirmed that Golden Globe, Grammy and Oscar-winning singer Common would also be making a guest appearance.
“Oh yeah, for sure. For absolutely sure. We’re gonna have a good time,” Lee told Access. “You heard that first.
Common previously told Access that he’d be interested in joining “Empire,” should an opportunity arise.
Also, Daniels took credit for all of Cookie’s outfits.
Empire continues to be ratings smash and its two hour season finale airs Wednesday, March 18 at 8pm ET.
