You know it’s a special day when HISD cancels school for a Parade! Lol But this just ain’t any parade. This is a celebration for our hometown team. Houston has been through so much this year with Hurricane Harvey. The Astros winning the World Series for the first time in franchise history shows the rest of the world how strong and resilient our city really is. The victory parade starts at 2pm. Get there super duper early, because traffic is going to be insane and roads will be closed off! We’ll meet you on the corner of Milam & Clay. See ya there!
