JJ Watt Set To Receive Honorary Degree From Baylor College
Houston Texans player JJ Watt went to extrodinary measures to help our city in our time of need, and those efforts are the reason Baylor College has decided to present him with an honorary degree this May.
Dr. Paul Klotman, president, CEO and executive dean of Baylor said in a release, “In the year following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey and the community’s incredible response, it was most fitting to honor two community leaders who contributed in major ways, Dr. Persse and J.J. Watt. Our graduates and their families can take important lessons from all four of these honorary degree recipients.”
Dr. David Persse is the Director of Houston Emergency Medical Services and will also be receiving an honorary degree to recognize his volunteer work during Hurricane Harvey.
Incredibly honored, thank you.
Our work is far from over. https://t.co/s15b9BXLYq
