Drunk Man Takes $1,600 Uber From West Virginia To New Jersey

Rule number one of Uber, always check the price before you confirm your ride! One man didn’t take too much heed to that rule as he ended up partying in West Virginia and asked for his uber drive to take him home — in New Jersey.

The move cost Kenny Bachman a grand total of $1,635.93. We’re hoping he left his Uber driver one heck of a tipLBachman was out with friends in Morgantown, W.V. last Friday and called for an Uber to take him back to where he was staying at West Virginia University. Or so he thought. He soon blacked out and woke up two hours into the ride, finally realizing he was going back to his home state. Instead of being dropped off in the middle of nowhere, Bachman decided to foot the bill.

“Afterwards I had it fully sink in,” Bachman told NJ Advance Media. “Once the ride ended and I saw how much it was when I was like ‘Alright, this is insane, that’s just crazy.'”
