Friday could’ve easily been my last night on Earth. I hadn’t eaten all day and was meeting my friend Brandon at Velvet Taco to have a drink and chow down. Once I arrived to Washington Ave., I missed my turn so I took the next one. Little did I realize…. IT WAS A ONE-WAY STREET!!!! I saw my life (and headlights) flash before my eyes. I made the quickest detour into the closest parking lot to avoid colliding into vehicles head-on. Pay close attention to the signs while driving, people; ESPECIALLY Downtown Houston & In The Heights. I know I’m not the only one who’s made this mistake before. DRIVE SAFELY.
AND NO I wasn’t texting & driving.
