John Cena on Nikki Bella: "I Still Want To Marry Her"
John Cena REALLY Wants To Get Married To Nikki Bella
John Cena is still heartbroken over his split with Nikki Bella.
The WWE wrestler went on the TODAY Show Monday morning to once more tell the world how much he loves Nikki, even after she called off their engagement last month. He’s even changed his mind about wanting kids!
“It’s up and it’s down … it’s been incredibly reflective which is amazing, but it’s very difficult … I’ve had my heart broken out of nowhere … but I’ve looked at myself everyday and I’ve tried to evaluate myself and the woman that I love and for anyone out there speculating … I still love Nicole,” he shared. “I still would love to marry Nicole. I still would love to have a family with Nicole. There was an unfortunate set of circumstances where our relationship ended … I was supposed to be married and have a honeymoon over these two weeks … I don’t want anybody else … I love Nicole and I’m really trying to support her in trying to find whatever it is she wants that made this fall apart in the first place.”
During the course of their six-year relationship, Cena admitted how much loving Nikki made him change his old ways.

“Slowly over time, this woman stole my heart,” he explained. “She’s my No. 1 so I’m willing to go back on all these things I said [like not wanting kids] … it took a strong look in the mirror to be like ‘Why?’ This person is my No. 1 and it’s something that’s very valuable to her and of course we can do this and I think it’ll be wonderful.”
It’s going to be tough in the next couple of weeks though. The couple, whose Total Bellas show has its season premiere on Sunday, May 20, also deals with their break-up.
“I have to say it’s going to be definitely very hard to relive and it’s hard to document it, but at the same time, the Bella Army has been on this incredible journey with John and I and you know all the viewers at E! and I feel like I would be cheating them if I was to take away all that footage because it’s real life,” Nikki told E! over the weekend. “We go through these ups and downs and we wedding plan — we could be on cloud nine, but then sometimes it makes you just face a lot of things that are going on in your life and you truly see that this season. … I think a lot of people are going to be able to relate to it. I think it’s going to also give a lot of people courage and bravery to speak up. I think sometimes we go through things because we’re like, ‘Ok, this is what we need to do. It’s too late.’ It’s never too late to make a decision.”
