Three Reasons Why Amir Diamond Dyed His Hair Blue!

Everyone keeps asking my why I dyed my hair baby blue and whether the specific color signifies anything.
The answer: no, it doesn’t stand for a particular cause. I just LOVE this hue. But there are a few factors that contributed to my decision. Here they are:
- To stay ahead of the trend. I hate being a follower. I like to be the one to say “I did it first.” Right now, it is a taboo idea for guys to have colorful hair. I stand firm in the belief that everyone will start doing it soon.
- To get outside of my comfort zone. Typically, I’m more reserved. For 20 years, I’ve worn my hair short and even. It wasn’t until recently that I started playing around with it and trying new s***. I grew it out. I shaved the sides. I added parts. And now color. It’s apart of my inner-growth. Have fun with life. Experiment. Don’t take things too seriously.
- I have a job that allows me to be free. Everyone is not able to live life on the edge. There’s a lot of things that you can get away with in the media world that aren’t socially acceptable in corporate environments. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity that I have right now. I never know when I may get again.
