40 Truly Stylish Moments (& 10 Hilarious Memes) From The 2019 Met Gala

What you may consider camp is truly up for debate but the stars brought it for the 2019 Met Gala. With this year’s theme being “Camp: Notes on Fashion”, there were less drab tuxedos and dresses and arrivals played up to the theme (or in Billy Porter‘s case, outdid the theme ten times over).

Lena Waithe wore a suit that paid homage to the founders of camp, Cardi B proved once more that any pink carpet can turn into a red carpet if she’s around, Jennifer Lopez channeled Cher and Kim Kardashian had half the internet screaming, “b*tch WHAT WAIST?!” If co-chair Harry Styles was subtle, his counterpart (and Oscar winner) Lady Gaga said nuts to that with four different reveals all on the pink carpet.
