Texas drivers knows the Texas Department of Transportation‘s campaign, “Don’t Text and Drive.” Now a similar message is directed at Pokemon GO players.

A few headlines made the news after a few Pokemon GO users crashed while capturing creatures. Seems that TxDOT’s social media manager thinks a new campaign is in order: “Don’t Pokemon GO and Drive.”

The TxDOT employee posted a screenshot of the app telling its users to “stay aware of your surroundings” along with a plea of their own: click here to see TxDOT’s message to gamers.

One of their messages is don’t stop traffic just for PokeStops with don’t cross the street without paying attention. Using the hashtag ‪#‎WeShouldntHaveToTellYouThis‬

Gamers go forth and capture monsters safely.
